Faviana Olaguibel joined GLAS Architects in 2026 after earning her Bachelor of Architecture from the University of Oregon. GLAS’s commitment to serving local communities, the care and attention given to each project, and their collaborative office culture made the firm a natural fit.

Originally from Peru, Favi moved to the United States in 2021 to pursue her education. Five years of study in the Pacific Northwest deepened her appreciation for its incredible landscapes, and even after calling Eugene home for half a decade, she feels there is still so much of the region’s natural beauty left to explore.

Her experiences have shaped a deep appreciation for architecture’s ability to improve lives and strengthen communities. Community service remains one of the driving forces in her professional pursuits, and she volunteers with local nonprofit organizations when she can. Outside of work, she also enjoys spending time outdoors, reading, and traveling—especially when it brings her back home.
