HECTOR RODRIGUEZ

ARCHITECT

The newest addition to the team, Hector joined GLAS Architects in 2026 and brings with him close to a decade of experience leading the design of affordable, multifamily, and missing-middle housing projects. He is a skilled project manager who can lead interdisciplinary teams to deliver projects successfully through all phases of design. Hector is a registered architect in Oregon and California and is currently supporting on the design of several projects including high school auditoriums, college campus renovations, and retail remodels.  

Outside of practice, Hector enjoys staying engaged in his local community. He is a member of Eugene Taiko and is active with other organizations including the Rotary Club of Eugene and the Latino Professionals Connect. Hector is also an active member of the National Organization of Minority Architects (NOMA) and delights in mentoring the next generation of architects through invited jury critics at the University of Oregon and through direct one-on-one mentorship.

A California native raised in Arizona, Hector relocated to Eugene to pursue a Master of Architecture degree at the University of Oregon in 2015. Following a stint in Los Angeles after graduating, Hector relocated to Eugene in 2025 with his fiancé and enjoys being able to ride his bike to work and the ability to walk almost everywhere.
