Leslie Fender, born near Portland then Texas-raised, joined GLAS Architects in summer 2024 after a cross-state road trip turned official Oregon homecoming.  

She brings 20 years of experience managing the full scope of admin, accounts, HR and project management for a diverse range of businesses including legal, nonprofit, construction and retail. Leslie’s background also includes roles in film, fashion and photography and a degree in Textiles & Apparel Design from UT Austin. At GLAS Architects, she’s excited to contribute both her creative and operational strengths on a team dedicated to beautiful design, best practices and community service.

Outside the office, Leslie is regrowing her roots by exploring the cultural offerings of her new community and the grandeur of nearby forests, falls and coasts with her dog, Kiddo—and she’s on a quest to find locally made, fresh flour tortillas because you can take the girl out of Texas but…she really misses breakfast tacos.
