Born near Portland then raised in Texas, Leslie Fender (she/her) joined GLAS Architects in summer 2024 after a cross-state road trip turned official Oregon homecoming.  

She brings 20 years of experience managing the full scope of admin, accounts, HR and project management for a diverse range of businesses including legal, nonprofit, construction and retail. Leslie’s background also includes roles in film, fashion and photography and a Textiles & Apparel Design degree from UT Austin. At GLAS Architects, she contributes both her creative and operational strengths on a team dedicated to thoughtful design and sustainable development.

Outside the office, Leslie is regrowing her roots by exploring the cultural offerings of her new community and the grandeur of nearby forests, falls and coasts with her dog, Kiddo.
