WALDPORT HIGH SCHOOL

LINCOLN COUNTY SCHOOL DISTRICT
Waldport, Oregon

Our team’s working relationship with Lincoln County School District dates back to 2006, when we were hired to help with initial pre-bond conceptual planning. We conducted facility assessments and master plans on a site-by-site basis over the next few years with the outcome being a successful $63 million Construction Bond Levy to complete improvements to twelve of the district’s facilities. Through a competitive RFP process, we had the opportunity to implement the recommendations we had made, including the construction of Waldport High School.

The high school was moved from a site just above sea level to a site adjacent to Crestview Heights K-8 School, saving district resources that could then be directed to the project. The new 56,420-square-foot facility now accommodates 330 high school students while providing additional services to the adjacent school.  Building amenities include a large gym, a full-service wood and metal shop, state-of-the-art classrooms and science labs, as well as a daylit commons area for the students.
